Mini Drive-In Movie Night

Tuesday 1 March

This will be a terrific night, with a special Mini-only drive-in at a special venue in the Northern Sydney beachside suburb of Mona Vale.

The location is Village Park, Mona Vale, which is bounded by Pittwater Rd, Park St and Barrenjoey Rd. Entry is from Park St. Starting time is 7.00pm

Organised by Col Crawford Lifestyle Cars (MINI dealership) it will involve a temporary large screen, with space for up to 100 cars in a traditional drive-in style set-up. There will also be plenty of space for people to sit, so if we have more than 100 Mini owners wanting to attend there will be space for the people, if not the cars.

We are planning on having two films. As the event is being organised by MINI dealerships one film will be the 2002 Italian Job. The second film will be Goodbye Pork Pie – chosen with emphasis on the Classic Mini.

The venue is beside the MINI Bar, and there are numerous restaurants within an easy walk in the immediate area, so food and drinks will be easily available.

Because of Mona Vale’s position in the Northern beaches, and with Sydney’s peak traffic chaos, it is recommended that you get there early if possible. Spend the afternoon at the beach or checking out the surrounding shops or restaurants. Easiest access to Mona Vale is probably via the M2 then Ryde Rd and Mona Vale Rd.
