Goulburn City Display

Saturday 5 March

We are planning to have a static display in the city of Goulburn on the Saturday afternoon, from about 3.00pm to 5.00pm. This has been confirmed with Council, and will follow on after the monthly Farmer’s Market at the same venue.

The bulk of the day will be allocated for people to make their way from Sydney to Goulburn in time for the following day’s major event, the Oz50 Mini Festival.

For people wanting a nice Mini-friendly drive to Goulburn, rather than straight down the freeway, click here for route instructions. Please note that these are a guide only. While every effort has been made to make sure they are accurate, there will be no official convoy, no sweep vehicle and no provision for assisting broken down or lost vehicles.

A good map is recommended to supplement these instructions, it is not essential. There are a number of areas that the route goes over or close to the freeway, so the option is there to follow the freeway to Goulburn in a number of places, if desired. This route should take an average of 4 hours to reach Goulburn but may vary depending on stops made, traffic through the towns, and road conditions. All roads chosen are good bitumen roads, but changes may occur due to weather or roadworks, etc.

A maximum number of about 200 Minis will be permitted in the display, so it will be a case of first in, best dressed.
